We can always count on David Sirota to tell it like it is, and he did just that on Fox, about Fox. Seems like Fox News' parent company, The News, is really quite heavily subsidized to the tune of having paid almost no taxes for the last two years!

In his Blog on the subject, David Sirota stated:

"You may recall that according to the New York Times, the News Corporation "paid no federal taxes in two of the last four years, and in the other two it paid only a fraction of what it otherwise would have owed" at a time when its "domestic pretax profits topped $9.4 billion."" David Sirota has a YouTube video of the Fox "discussion".

Watch the video with some cool water beside you, because it will likely make your blood boil what some of the conservative panelists spew out.

By the way, John Edwards is challenging the other candidates to refuse contributions from News Corp..

Good for John Edwards, and thank you, Senator, for stepping up to the plate once again.

John Edwards' mission of "Rewarding Work And Helping Families Get Ahead" is morally compelling in every way, and one that inspires my efforts to get him elected. It would indeed fulfill the promise laid down by Bobby Kennedy in 1968. A Mission with a map for getting there. Let's just follow the map; we'll get there.
