This was written the day before the Blog on the John Edwards 08 was closed, two weeks after the suspension of John Edwards' campaign.
I want to thank all of you who have made this such a welcome and supportive place. I am so sad that our blog here is ending, but I know that we will keep the inspiration with us for a long time, and will put the mission and vision of John Edwards as standards for all politicians in the future and for our own action agendas.
I, myself, will work toward the ends of economic justice, campaign finance reform, media reform, election reform, Democratic Party Reform, and citizen education. I will work to make sure that John Edwards' message and messages like his will be heard in this land.
I will be happy to join Edwards oriented blogs, and I have already. But, I will sorely miss this one, my direct link to the JRE campaign and John Edwards, himself.

I am so saddened to lose this home. It was the direct link to the Campaign and most importantly to John Edwards.
I visited it so many times a day, just to check in, to share, to support, to sing John Edwards praises and to become informed of all he stood for.
I will miss this home terribly.
God bless you, John and Elizabeth. We love you and will always be inspired by your mission and vision.

I think things will work out just fine--but we have to be vigilant about monitoring voting registration polls--REGISTER AND VOTE EARLY AND MAKE SURE IT COUNTS. THEN BE A POLL WATCHER. Godspeed.

This is tough. I can't imagine coming home from school tomorrow and not being able to check out the blog. This is sad for all of us here. We had strength in our numbers. I'm not sure what's going to happen next. Love to all of you, it's been great! I hope to talk to all of you more in the future somewhere.

all of you. I feel like you are just like family.
Now...I have that bittersweet feeling so aptly portrayed in "American Graffiti." You know? The last school bell has rung, the kids have spilled out of the classrooms for the last time, slammed their lockers and poured out into the June sun...graduation day.
The halls are empty now, with only a few pieces of notebook paper blowing gently in the breeze...down the hall. Our favorite teacher, Mr. Edwards has left for the year but...HE WILL BE BACK! :*-)

Hi Noelle, I hope you'll be joining the National OC so we can stay in touch. Thanks so much for taking over "Filmmakers for Edwards" and growing it so much. We're thankful in Florida that the writers' strike is nearing an end! (Fingers and toes crossed!) The WGA votes tomorrow . . .
Hopefully, by 2012, I'll be proficient on the computer and will be able to maneuver around the blogs better!
