OKlahoma Voter receives Karita Hummer's Silver Pen Award for "For want of truth in the media"

Oklahoma Voter receives Karita Hummer's Silver Pen Award for her incisive piece on the lack of truth in current day mainstream media. Hers is an exemplary piece of citizen journalism which I think is our best hope for journalistic truth today. Media wasn't always so lacking in truth and investigation as it is today. What a loss for our country! KH, Passionate Progressive Patriot

(so true - promoted by edgery)

For want of truth in the media, grass roots will was lost.
For want of grassroots will, political will was lost.
For want of political will, a stronger alternative energy package was lost.
For want of a stronger energy package, alternative sources of energy were lost.
For want of alternative sources, tools for limiting carbon dioxide production were lost.
For want of carbon dioxide limits, forest fires flared and mountaintops melted.
For want of stopping fires and melts, lands overheated and farmlands were lost.
For want of farmlands, most of an inhabitable planet was lost.
And all for the want of truth in the corporate-owned media.
